Operation Lexicon - William Shakespeare

The words of William Shakespeare are specific, precise, and worthy of collection.

A lexicon is the collected vocabulary of a person. Over the course of 26 weeks, students will explore a cluster of words from the lexicon of E.B. White. Using these words in an original way, with inspiration from favorites such as Romeo and Juliet, and The Tempest, will help the budding wordsmith recognize the plasticity of language and delight in its beauty.

Recommended for use with our Level 3 and 4 Literature and Writing Discovery Guides, and our Introduction to Composition: The Essay unit.
