Section 1: Chapters 1-3

- Elmer is getting farther away from the river because the swamp was becoming deeper and the jungle was too thick to see the river. (pg. 39)
- Elmer runs into seven tigers when he comes to the clearing. (pg. 41)

Section 3: Chapters 6-7

Section 4: Chapters 8-10
