During this 5-week session, teachers will explore the life of a significant person and help students gain specific vocabulary to describe such a person. Each week students will gather notes and craft a body paragraph to be included in the culminating biographical essay during week 4. The last week is dedicated to culminating activities
Frida Kahlo was brave woman who was an invalid most of her life, she transformed herself into a living work of art. This strong and courageous painter was inspired by the ancient culture and history of her beloved homeland, Mexico. Her paintings continue to inform and inspire popular culture around the world.
