Description
Wolfgang Amadeus Mouse is a big name for such a little mouse.
But if the name fits, why not? Wolf’s favorite pastime is listening to Mrs. Honeybee, the lady of the house, play the piano. If only he could sing along to the music! When an accident leaves Mrs. Honeybee in danger, it’s up to Wolf to save her… the only way he knows how.

Integrated Literature & Writing Discovery Guides
Level 1 study guides are recommended for a range of primary (grades 2 and 3) students who have acquired the foundational skills to independently read and respond to a simple piece of literature. Each guide is designed to be completed in five weeks, which allows students to comfortably work through six units in a typical school year.
Not sure what level to choose? View our placement guidelines here.
Each week for four weeks, students will:
- Learn to take notes on characters, settings, and plot
- Study vocabulary
- Answer comprehension questions
- Write a short personal response
- Have opportunity to discuss topics related to the story
On the fifth week students are given a selection of hands-on projects to complete.
