NOTE: This course is the first in a series of two continuous sessions. Students should enroll in both for the complete course.

During two, 5-week sessions, students will be guided into an exploration of the craft of writing poems and the delight of reading poetry. They will be introduced to some of the small forms used by poets, explore excellent small poems, and practice writing original poetry.
