CORE — During this 5-week session, teachers will support students as they journal ideas, explore vocabulary, dive deep into the plot, discuss ideas, receive feedback on the weekly writing exercise, and build a culminating project.
A gifted violinist, Allegra plays violin in her hometown youth orchestra and prepares all summer to play Mozart in a violin competition. Allegra is more than her music, she’s a real live 12-yearold who ponders and wrestles with real life issues as she strives for excellence. Eventually Allegra weaves her insights into the concerto resulting in a personalized interpretation of Mozart.
