During this 5-week session, teachers will support students as they journal ideas, explore vocabulary, dive deep into the plot, discuss ideas, receive feedback on the weekly writing exercise, and build a culminating project.
After their mother dies, Prosper and his brother, Bo, flee from Hamburg to Venice because an awful aunt plans to adopt only Bo. They live in an abandoned movie theater under the care of the Thief Lord, who claims to rob the city’s most elegant houses. When a mysterious man hires the Thief Lord to steal a wooden wing, the plan is altered.
