During this 5-week session, teachers will explore the life of a significant person and help students gain specific vocabulary to describe such a person. Each week students will gather notes and craft a body paragraph to be included in the culminating biographical essay during week 4. The last week is dedicated to culminating activities.
The beloved plays of Shakespeare are still produced everywhere, yet the life of the world’s most famous playwright remains largely a mystery. Young Will left the town of Stratford to pursue theater in London, where his work eventually thrived and made him a famous and wealthy man.
