Shakespeare – Operation Lexicon 11

$30.00

The words of William Shakespeare are specific, precise, and worthy of collection.

Description

A lexicon is the collected vocabulary of a person. Over the course of 26 weeks, students will explore a cluster of words from the lexicon of William Shakespeare. Using these words in an original way, with inspiration from favorites such as The Tempest, and Taming of the Shrew, will help the budding wordsmith recognize the plasticity of language and delight in its beauty.

In His Own Words

My words fly up, my thoughts remain below. Words without thoughts never to heaven go.

Brevity is the soul of wit.

Write till your ink be dry, and with your tears
Moist it again, and frame some feeling line
That may discover such integrity.
